Great for cross country skiing in the winter. If you’re feeling ambitious there are several peaks to climb. There is also a nice easy trail that follows the river.

When planning a trip here keep in mind it is about a half hour to the entrance of the park but about another 45 minutes to get into the main part of the park. The drive in the park is beautiful, but a windy road with some exposed sections.
