Elche is well known for making shoes and the areas shoe factories. There are quiet a few but this one is rated highly.

There is also car hire places local to the villa, as well as taxi services. There is also a cycle hire shop within Quesada.

Sightseeing
This is slightly further away but a fantastic place to visit for the day. The boardwalk is a great walk or cycle but the highlight for us as a family is the mud area. You cover yourself in the mud and then let it dry while sitting on the jetties, your skin is lovely and smooth afterwards.

Guardamar has lovely beaches, sand dunes, marina, fishing area, promenade, shops, cafes, and restaurants. For us Guardamar is a great place for children, with the parks and play areas, it also has a fun fair which is open at certain times of the year. As well as this a night time market opens selling crafts and trinkets.

Guardamar del Segura
Guardamar has lovely beaches, sand dunes, marina, fishing area, promenade, shops, cafes, and restaurants. For us Guardamar is a great place for children, with the parks and play areas, it also has a fun fair which is open at certain times of the year. As well as this a night time market opens selling crafts and trinkets.
These are ruins, and there isn't any services at the top so you must bring your own drinks etc, but lovely views and interesting history.

This is an unusual place and great to visit. The old caves that were used for homes have been converted into shops and arts and crafts displays. There is a place to stop and have a drink and they do open at night time at certain times for music or poetry etc
