Although I prefer a home cooked meal, eating out is a fun treat too. We prefer the local places!
I always get the Catfish Almondine and my hubby gets the Shrimp Rakhee. They have a great back patio area with turtles that you can feed! Sometimes the ULM ski team practices in the bayou and that is fun to watch.

I am a huge fan of taking in the local scenery. Here are a few of our favorite places to hang out.
The park offers 150 acres of playgrounds, a conservatory, tennis courts, gardens, picnic areas, fishing ponds, and hiking trails. It is our favorite park.

These gardens cannot be beat. Take a tour of the coca-cola bottling museum and drink a coke in glass bottles for just 5 cents!
