Go for an intimate dinner or to meet some locals at the bar. The food is delicious! We always eat from the specials. They do not take reservations and there is always a wait - but well worth it. My husband and I got engaged here.

The Engine Room is our hometown favorite bar (sister to Port of Call, Oyster Club and Dive Bar). Beer, bourbon and burgers, as their logo says. There is always a great energy and talented and friendly staff. Happy hour is from 3-5, 7 days a week, with $6 Old Fashioned and other food and drink options.

Locared at the back of Seaport Marine Shipyard, Red, is a Mystic hot spot. The interior mimics a ship with 270° views of the Mystic River and downtown buildings through their floor to ceiling windows. The back deck is pretty spectacular as well. Land, sea and raw bar on the menu with some stellar cocktails, too. Happy Hour Monday-Friday 4-6
