Combine with a visit at the High coast bridge with great food at the restaurant, nature trails and a fun playground for the kids.

Combine with a visit at the High coast bridge with great food at the restaurant, nature trails and a fun playground for the kids.

205 SMITINGENSuperfint att åka till Barsvikens fiskeläge och promenera ut till fyren (ca 25 min). 2 olika grillplatser finns. En bara ca 500 m från fiskeläget. Det andra lite längre bort i. En skyddad vik. Fina promenadstigar, fornlämningar, fantastisk utsikt vid fyren och ett vackert kapell vid fiskeläget.
En nyupptäckt favorit ca 20 minuter från gården.
Barsviken station
Superfint att åka till Barsvikens fiskeläge och promenera ut till fyren (ca 25 min). 2 olika grillplatser finns. En bara ca 500 m från fiskeläget. Det andra lite längre bort i. En skyddad vik. Fina promenadstigar, fornlämningar, fantastisk utsikt vid fyren och ett vackert kapell vid fiskeläget.

Enjoy gin tastings or a lunch with locally produced meals. On Saturdays they serve an a la carte dinner too. Just wonderful.

During the cold war this fort was a very important point for our Swedish defense. Situated 40 meters down from in the mountain more than 300 soldiers worked in this top secret station.
It closed in 1992 and nowadays you can enjoy guided tours in the summertime to see and learn anot this era.
There is also a top restaurant with magical sea views to enhance your visit to the island of Hemsö.
