This castle dates backto the 14th century when the origanl tower was built for the Thanes of Cawdor.
There are also beautiful walks through the woods amd gardens.
Open from April to September it is well worth a visit

Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland's great houses and the largest in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms. Dunrobin Castle is also one of Britain's oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s, home to the Earls and later, the Dukes of Sutherland.

This photogenic castle at Dornie was around before Viking times, but was rebuilt from a ruin in the early years of the 20th century. It has a stunning backdrop of Loch Alsh and Skye in the distance.
