LA has some of the best hiking trails for you to take in it's scenic landscape, city views, and maybe see a view celebrities.
This is my favorite hiking trail! It's not over crowded and you will see fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, Downtown LA, and the Hollywood Hills.

Going during the week is best to avoid huge weekend tourist crowds. I love renting a bike and riding from Venice to Santa Monica and back! If drum circles are your thing there's one that happens right before Sunset.
