Here is a list of my favourite places to visit in the Bloorcourt area. They are all within walking distance from my home.

Located just west of Dufferin Station, this is a fantastic upscale bar with a great patio. Burdock is also a terrific music venue showcasing a bevy of talented musicians, local and beyond.

This park is a 10 minute walk from my house and is a nice quiet place to spend an afternoon. There are often movie nights and local events taking place on the weekends during the summer. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful park to visit in the summer. There is a local farmer's market you can check out every Thursday from 3-7pm.

Located directly across the street from my apartment, this funky and upscale shop is so much more than your average convenience store. A great place to pick up ready made food or snacks during your stay. A lot of vegan and gluten free options are available. And the chocolate isn't bad either!

This is a great place to see comedy and improv shows. You can also test out your own Improv skills with a drop in class which takes place every Tuesday at 7pm and 8pm. I've done this myself and they are a lot of fun!
