Fresco is a wonderful restaurant for lunch or dinner. They make the best veggie burger I've ever had, and their salad's are phenomenal. $8-$18

One of our favorite breakfast spots in the heart of downtown SB. Not your average bacon and eggs joint and a bit more pricey, but well worth it. Their french toast is incredible! $12-$20

For a high class dinner, Bouchon is our choice. They feature local SB wines exclusively, and literally everything on the menu is fantastic. Try the beet salad and a local Syrah. $25-$50

Goleta Beach is a good beach to go to because its usually not very crowded, parking is easy, and its easier to get in and out with children.

This is a small park that we take our kids to and they like it. Its a nice walk from our home through a great neighborhood.

The left of center, quirky little lounge is our favorite bar. They serve high quality beers and wine (no spirits), and have a great atmosphere with couches, a pool table and a great outdoor patio.

Municipal Winemakers have a great tasting room. The really cool thing is that they are open till 11pm Thursday-Saturday for late night sipping, snacking and hipster watching.
