This is the cheapest good feed in town. For £5 you can get dinner from the friendly at Mosque Kitchen. This is a favourite for students and tourists alike.

This is a renovated old mans pub, and the Scandinavians have done a good job. The corner outside is often full of people. It serves food as well, and I keep coming back for the meat balls.

THis is one of our favourite Bar/Restaurants. It has a very casual bohemian atmosphere. Great for long boozy lunches.

Our local small and cozy bar with a beer garden out back. It has 4 guest casks at any one time. The restaurant is excellent too, and you can order some of the food to be brought to you in the bar area

This is peasant french at its simplest and finest. Its the sort of place you order a chicken and two bottles of wine, served in tumblers not glasses. The food is surprisingly cheap but good.

It may be a bit low and dark and down a cobbled backstreet, but its a good hideaway from the crowds of George Street. It serves gastropub food and cocktails.

Popular Scottish brewer. They tend to serve very hoppy beers if thats what you like. They also have guest beers and other drinks. But they dont serve just anything. It has to be good.

A quiet bar down a hidden Close crowned with twigs. It does food as well as drinks. A bit pricey but can be an immediate relief from the madness of the mile.

This place is almost entirely done up in recycled material. It happens to have Innis n Gunn on tap and quite a nice selection of other beers. You can hire a couch if you have a game to watch.
