Sightseeing
Temple square is fun to walk around, gorgeous scenery, it's a serene atmosphere. You can take a free tour at the visitors center and learn about the mormon church. Great cultural experience.

This place is absolutely awesome. It's our brand new Natural History Museum, and the benefactors appear to have stepped up bigtime. Dinosaurs, history, Utah! It's pretty amazing.

This place is absolutely amazing, (in my opinion!). If you're into rare books and/or the history of Utah, you won't do better than Ken Sanders Rare books. Stop by for some local flavor.

This is the best little hike in the downtown area. From this peak you'll see the entire SLC valley in beautiful splendor. It's about a 30 minute hike, moderate difficulty level.

The LDS Church built a conference center in recent years, and it is hands down one of the most amazing architectural sites in Utah. A must-see (and Temple Square is just across the street!)
