Founded in c1200 by the Earl of Pembroke, Tintern Abbey was a Cistercian abbey located on the Hook peninsula. Today visitors can see remains of the nave, chancel, tower, chapel, and cloister.

Sandeel Bay is closebay and it's a wonderful beach. Very quiet and perfect for a cheeky swim!

The back roads and lanes are wonderful to walk around. Full of native irish plant life and wild life. Beautiful.

John F Kennedy Park, 2km southeast of the Kennedy Homestead, has a small visitor centre, tearooms, a picnic area and a miniature rain tootles around in the summer months. Sunny season fun!
