If you want a nice meal with amazing views, this is the place. Located on the 30th floor overlooking downtown, the Willamette River, and the cascade range. Also features a nice lounge with beautiful views of the city lights.

A floating restaurant on a dock on the Columbia river. More pub-style food than Salty's which is just up the road. Open air. Brilliant on nice days, maybe not a great choice when the weather isn't at it's best. It's a bit out of the way, so it's not touristy. Not as intimate or quiet (it's close to the airport) as The Island Cafe, but it's far easier to get seated.

Amazing Tiki bar/lounge. If you want to see what Tiki bars were like in the 50s, this is the place. Cozy booths, tropical drinks, karaoke, free leis for everyone!

Adjacent to The Oregon Zoo, The Japanese Garden, and the famous Portland Test Rose Garden. Fantastic when you need to get to the outdoors but don't have time to make it to the Gorge.
