It's pretty much the best restaurant in town. If you're into haute cuisine and you want to impress someone, that's the place to go. It can be pricey but the food is next level and the stunning view over Brasov makes it a must visit.

If you love your French fries check this cute little fast food place out. They only do fries but they do them darn well. First they boil them at 120 degrees C and then they fry them to perfection in a combination of 5 oils. Add your favorite sauce, grab a coffee and enjoy. Pro Tip: Pick the Jammie sauce with caramalized onions and take it away to the nearby Council Square.

One of our favorite coffee shops right in the central square. It has a very hip following of entrepreneurs and business people. They also take their coffee very seriously! Highly recommended for getting some work done in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pro Tip: Check out their FB page for occasional parties and live events on the weekend. There's a great atmosphere when the sun gets down :)

14 Piața SfatuluiOne of our favorite coffee shops right in the central square. It has a very hip following of entrepreneurs and business people. They also take their coffee very seriously! Highly recommended for getting some work done in a relaxed atmosphere.

A brilliant little family restaurant that's been recently voted as the no. 1 spot to eat in Brasov. Super close to our location with very delicious food and a medium price range. You might need to call for a reservation to make sure you get a table here.

More than that, inside the church there is one of the greatest organs in Europe, and also the largest collection of old carpets from Asia Minor

Walking to the top takes about an hour and you have several alternative trails with different difficulty levels to choose from. You can also ascend Mount Tampa by cable car (tickets 16 lei) to an altitude of 940m. From the upper cable car station walk five minutes (not 15 as indicated) along the path behind the Brasov sign to the rocky summit (at 955m) for the best views of the town!

If you enjoy zoos you will like this one. It's not big nor impressive but it's host to lots of big cats and bears and it has recently been renovated to be more beautiful and welcoming and better suited for the animals as well.
