It's sooooo charming! It's a mom and pop coffee place with desserts, sandwiches and salads too. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter, find a table you like (in the garden, in the library) and they'll find you when your order is up. You can stay as long as you like.

The restaurant is pricey (Asian cuisine) but you can hang out at the bar with no minimum and no reservations needed and enjoy an unobstructed view from there. There are lots of interesting drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and appetizers. In the summer they also have an outdoor bar open.

Parks & Nature
It's unique - with rock formations that feel prehistoric. You will also recognize the locations within the park from films you've seen - everything from The Flintstones to Little Miss Sunshine. Great place to hike and rock climb

It's all perched on a cliff in Malibu and you can see the Pacific Ocean. Taking the architecture tour or the garden tour and having a bite in the outdoor cafe is a great way to spend an afternoon. Admission is free but there's a charge for parking if you take your car.

This is the old Huntington family estate, turned into a wonderful museum with famous works of art and terrific temporary exhibits. There are a variety of themed botanical gardens to stroll through and a tearoom.

During Easter, people take their pets to be blessed by the local archbishop.
