Why not leave Styrsö and take a walk across the bridge to neighboring Donsö? It's the island with the most shipping companies in the entire country.

2 minutes from our house, at the jetty, is a small café and gallery, where you can sit out site in their herb garden and enjoy fresh pies, etc.

I love their exhibit "Way of the water" where you can follow a mountain stream all the way to the ocean, along with all the critters that inhabit each part of the way. HUGE aquarium!
