Wake 'n Bakery is the best place in Glacier.
The baked goods and coffee are excellent and you can get breakfast items too. The owners and staff are great and there are local art pieces , jewelry, buttons and shirts to buy .
Great coffee and pasteries. Breakfast wraps. Organic coffee that is very high quality. They also sell local art, T- shirts, jewelry and the indoor and outdoor atmosphere is just wonderful. They even sell dog treats and local dogs hang around hoping visitors will buy them one!

Sports bar pizza and food. They have great cesear salads and drinks and the place is big with large screen t.v.s to watch sports and ski/snow board events.

our cabin is closer to the town of Glacier, not Deming . It is also a 20 minute drive to Mt. Baker ski area.
This is the top of the Mt. Baker area that you can drive to. you can hike on Table mountain down to the Chain Lakes . Beautiful views of Mt. Baker , Mt. Shuksan and the Ruth range of mountains. In September the heather turns bright red, yellow and orange and blueberries start forming. When I was a child there were mountain goats, black and brown bears, wolves , cougars, marmots , grouse, tarmigans and owls.
The wild flowers are seen in spring and summer.

Artist Point
This is the top of the Mt. Baker area that you can drive to. you can hike on Table mountain down to the Chain Lakes . Beautiful views of Mt. Baker , Mt. Shuksan and the Ruth range of mountains. Table Mountain has sweeping views and can be accessed at Artist point or from Bagley lake. There is a switch back trail that links Mt. Herman to Table mountain that is a great hike and also links to the Chain lakes.

This beautiful place has ancient topography and thankfully has a fence to keep dogs and people from falling over. the views of the falls at the bottom merge with Wells creek and join the Nooksack River.

Our family called this area "The land of the orange and green" because the lake color is dark green in the deep areas and the iron oxide rich mud is seen in the shallows. This is above where our original cabin was. It is now a parking lot with public bathrooms above an old damn which must be crossed to be on the trail below Mt. Herman.

This is a beautiful ancient edge of a volcanic caldera made of basalt. It is very danerouse to go next to the cliffs and dogs are not allowed up here.

Grahams store is close to the cabin, has basics like beer, wine, muffins and coffee. This little store is a great place if you need something and it is close by the cabin. This store has been here for over 100 years.

Supervise kids to protect our electronics and plumbing.
Before your arrival be sure to get the lockbox codes off the Airbnb message thread.
Bring a flashlight for emergencies. Please always remove shoes inside of the cabin.
I recommend leaving the cabin and gate keys locked in the lockbox so that they never get lost or locked inside of the cabin. Never leave the cabin unlocked when it is vacant.
