If you love Vietnamese food as much as we do, this place will hit all the right spots. Located in the heart of the city, their Vietnamese menu is to die for and the interior is absolutely lovely. Open for lunch, dinner & drinks. No wonder this place is such a favorite amongst the Amsterdam in-crowd.

This is the place to be if you want to treat yourself to a great (dare we say... hangover-) brunch. This Kiwi style breakfast spot is one of our favorite. Go on time, lines can get long, but there's enough cute shops to hop into in the area while you wait for a seat. They'll give you a call when your table is ready! Please try their peanutbutter shake, you'll thank us later!

PIZZA! Yes, and the most delicious one you'll have outside of Italy. Traditional Italian wood oven pizza. Our personal favorite is the Tartufo, but honestly we love everything on the menu. Great vibe, good staff, a treat for the taste buds!

In need of a breather? Only 45 minutes from the city is the Dutch Coast. Not many people venture out of the city, but we have a pretty nice beach on a sunny day. Get away from the hustle & bustle and enjoy a quiet beachday. Our fave spot is Hippy Fish (open April - September). The town Zandvoort is a 45 min train ride away and definetly worth the trip!

It's much more quiet than most parks in town and (bonus) it's one of the few park where you're still allowed BBQ in Amsterdam! Grab a blanket, a disposable bbq and enjoy a picknick in the summer time!

FOAM is the Dutch Photography museum and one of our personal favorites. They have new exhibitions every few months. It's quite small, which makes it a perfect cultural activity if you aren't in town too long.

Probably of our all time favorite places in the city. Hidden of the East side of town is the Hortus Botanicus, the botanical gardens of Amsterdam that have been there since the 1800's. It's historic glass house is home to all sorts of tropical plants. A beautiful oasis of green right in the heart of the vibrant city. Definately worth the trip!
