This is a great lounge that is very popular for locals around ages 40+. The fondue and cocktails are amazing! There are a lot of other bars within walking distance of this place. One night my husband and I made our own little moscow mule tour to try each bar's best moscow mule. It's a fun area for a night out close to our listing.

We LOVE Buffalo Chip when we have out of towners visiting. You can see live bull riding and get some good BBQ or catfish dinner. This place is a great, casual hangout if you love the country feel. You actually can also participate in the bull riding if you are feeling extra adventurous..... that's right YOU can ride a live bull after just signing a couple waivers.

We actually recently discovered Scottsdale Beer Company, and we are so happy we did! It has awesome food, a great atmosphere, and cold beer. What's not to love?

It gets pretty crazy at Blue Martini.. luckily it's a short Uber drive from the listing. There are also quite a few other bars on High Street.. this is by far the most popular.
Mill Ave. in Tempe is close to ASU and has great restaurants and bars along the road. They often have art festivals on the weekends. Go here for brunch if you are visiting an ASU student or at night if you want an alternative to Old Town Scottsdale!

This is our favorite movie theater in town because it was recently upgraded to have 3D recliners, 3D IMAX, and 2D recliners. We love going out for dinner at different Desert Ridge restaurants before catching a movie during date night. Desert Ridge also has great live music for free on weekends!

This is our personal favorite hiking trail (better than Tom's Thumb). It has bike trails, equestrian trails, and good old regular hiking trails. It is less crowded than most other Phoenix area trails, so we tend to use it as our go-to. There are a variety of peaks and trails of all diffficulty levels.

Fashion Square is one of the biggest malls around. I used to live next to the Mall of America, and this has the same feel without the amusement park. You can find anything you need at this mall, from high-end shopping to quick outfits from Forever 21.
