Book Johnny king from here to go deep sea fishing with. Unforgetttable experience. He has a fish trailer in Clifden on Fridays. The queue is around the corner. Get there early.

This is the local surf beach. Hire www.realadventures.ie , they are there every day and have a great surf dude with the gear and the health and safety covered. Like all surf beaches, you have to be alert! This is a cracking surf beach used by locals and visitors.

Another nearby island. The winter ferry goes from cleggan but the summer ferry from Roonagh near Louisburgh. The drive to the ferry at Roonagh is 1 hour and breathtaking. Fantastic island with cracking walks and seafood. Go there.
