Parks & Nature

Portland's Japanese Garden is an amazing visit for nature lovers and photographers. The new buildings by Kengo Kuma in the Japanese Garden are amazing, and have only elevated an already iconic Portland landmark.

Forest Park is full of winding trails and beautiful views! - the Wildwood Trail that runs from the Hoyt Arboretum to the St John's Bridge crosses Burnside just below the cabin, and is best accessed by walking up to the Pittock Mansion, or down burnside to where the trail crosses the road (be very careful if you choose to cross burnside here!
