Boardwalks, trails and beaches, OH MY. Beaches in Toronto?? In the summer the beach is filled with over 100 beach volleyball nets with acres left for lazing about or swimming. In Autumn the trails are alive with the changing colours of the leaves on the shores of lake ontario.

As older buildings are torn down, much of the concrete brick waste is used to grow the spit. A nature preserve and sanctuary for hundreds of birds, there are walking trails which give a number of different vantage points of the city
