If you are looking for fancy, Marche is up there. The mussels are amazing.

They rehabilitate birds here, but the ones that cannot be released again you are able to view, and they are really cool

This is just a couple blocks from the airbnb, a very easy walk to several full blocks of massive city park. Includes a running track, a frisbee golf course, bark walking/running trails, ball fields, and paved paths.

Skinner's butte is on the north side of town with a good view of downtown. Back in the day- Eugene was marked from Skinner's butte on the north to Spencer's butte at the south, with Willamette St connecting them both (it still does today, the town has just grown out a bit!). Drive to the top, or take one of the hiking trails up for an urban hike. North side connects to the massive river trail system.
