The only place around where you can pay $2 for a giraffe to eat lettuce right out of your hand. They don't bite, but they are slobbery. Giraffe selfies highly encouraged.

The map lies; trailhead is a mile from our house. Drive in a few minutes or walk and save $5 on parking. 13 miles up to Pikes Peak, but no shame in turning back before your legs turn to jelly (we do).
