“It is a vortex site, if you are sensitive you will feel the special energy. If not, it is still one of the most beautiful hikes in Sedona with panoramic views of the famous red rocks. Can be an easy hike lower down, medium hike further up and hard hike at the top.”

“Short, sweet and simply stunning, the Bell Rock Pathway may be the most popular trail and one of the easiest of all the walk-ways and hikes in the Sedona area. Bell Rock, so named because the shape resembles that of a large bell, stands adjacent to Courthouse Butte and both, typically in tandem, are frequently the object of photographers and artists. The location also enjoys significant popularity as one of Sedona’s vortex sites. The trail is wide, hard-packed with few if any hazards, easy to follow, and only 3.5 miles round trip, which for most can be accomplished in about an hour, packing a lot of scenic red rock punch for the time spent. ”

“Hop aboard a trolley as you travel through Sedona and Boynton Canyon on this 1.5-hour tour. Along your ride, listen to exciting little-known facts about the town and hear American Indian legends from your guide. See Jordan Park and the mesmerizing red-rock mountain area of the canyon. Pass by filming locations from old Hollywood westerns, and stop at some of the most well-known landmarks for photo ops. It has good reviews on Trip Advisor but we've never had the pleasure to experience their tour.”

“The unmistakable shape of Bell Rock is easy to spot along Highway 179, near the village of Oak Creek. Tourists come here to hike, bike, and sightsee. The sloping walls, which are deceivingly steep up-close, make this landmark an enticing object for hikers. The Bell Rock Trail is a very easy and accessible pathway and suitable for hikers of all ages and abilities, but it does offer some optional challenges for people who want to climb a short distance up the bell. When you get onto the formation itself, you'll be walking on sections of red slickrock. The trail is wide and mostly level as it rounds the skirt of Bell Rock until you start descending towards the Village of Oak Creek. The main Bell Rock Trail runs from Bell Rock Vista parking area to Courthouse Vista parking lot. This section is 3.6 miles one-way, but it's recommended to park at the Courthouse Vista parking area and just do the first 1.5 miles and return the same way. Despite what you might expect, this trail does not circle the base of Bell Rock. The area near the Bell Rock Vista parking lot just crosses a field until it reaches Bell Rock. If you'd like to climb up Bell Rock, there's a side trail that leads you up to the lower reaches of this impressive structure. Be prepared to come across mountain bikers on this trail as it's one of the best mountain biking trails in the area for beginners. ”

“The most popular Jeep Tour in Sedona. You can't go wrong. I would suggest the Broken Arrow tour as it is the most adventurous Red Rock tour. The Ancient Ruin Tour is not as exciting. ”

“A very important source of water for our area with a long, interesting history. People have been living there for centuries & there are some well preserved cliff dwellings there. Fed by a natural spring, it always has the same amount of water no matter how much rain fall. It then feeds into our lovely Beaver Creek which supports precious riparian areas. If you stay to the right going in, you can walk down to the creek & see some interesting irrigation ditches.”
