Beach
“A must-see in New Zealand. Famously a location in Prince Caspian, The Chronicles of Narnia. There are a few ways to get there. If you like walking, you can park for free in Hahei Village, or for a fee on Lees Road. (If you park at the paid parking on Lees Road you will not be able to take the water taxi back to your car.) If you park at the free lot in Hahei Village you can pay to take the shuttle to the top of the hill and shave 20 minutes off the walk, or you can begin the walk at the beach for free. If you are not much of a walker, park at the free lot in Hahei Village and take the water taxi from Hahei Beach. In the off season, check if it is running.”

Relive the life of a seaman, viewing the vast Manukau Bar, Paratutae, Auckland’s Waitakere Ranges, Auckland City and all of Manukau Harbour and Mount Taranaki to the south. View the internal displays as you walk through the historical lighthouse to learn about the location.
