“From the busy streets of Session Road and going up the stairs of the old La Azotea building, when you get to the top most t floor taking you to Oh My Gulay, it is like stepping in to a different world, feast your eyes on Cordilleran art in every corner, the walls, ceiling, even the furniture are all artwork. The menu was also fun and everything is healthy since it's a vegetarian resto.”

“When a restaurant gets back-to-back recognition in Miele’s Best Restaurants in Asia Awards, you know you have to see what all the fuss is about. Used to be a colonial structure in the early 1900’s, Hill Station of Casa Vallejo serves a wide selection of Asian and Continental dishes. If you plan to dine here, don’t forget to pass by Mt. Cloud Bookshop and watch an indie flick at Cinematheque! -from phonebooky.com”

“This place is definitely one-of-a-kind. Founded by one of the most famous families in Ilocos Sur, the Singsons, this place is part zoo, part big game trophy hall, and part petting farm. Have those cameras ready for some unique sights!”

“Panagbenga Festival, sometimes known as the “Blooming Flowers Festival”, is an annual flower festival in Baguio City. The term “Panagbenga” comes from a Kankanaey term meaning “season of blooming”, and this festival reflects the history, traditions and values of Baguio and the Cordilleras. While the festival lasts about one month, the highlight is the Grand Float Parade on the 4th Sunday of February which features a marching band and floats decorated with brightly colored flowers.”

“In the mood for a swig of craft beer by an open fire where the meat is grilling, while being surrounded by pine trees? For wanderers who decide to suddenly show up, they have sausages for grilling as well as craft beer and quality wine. However, you'd have to make a reservation 3 days prior for a minimum of 12 people if you want a buffet dinner by the French Chef "Aklay", and 12 hours prior for a minimum of 8 folks if you feel like having a fusion of Igorot and Negrense cuisine. ”

“Piitik is what Igorots call the intentional spill of the first swig of wine unto the ground. It can be beer, gin or any kind of liquor. The first chug is for the anito, the ancestral spirits. Manong Egbert expertly ferments endemic fruits and berries and they store the wines in a cob cellar. They display their wines all over town, but you might want to buy them straight from the source.”
