This park offers year-round events and activities and has facilities for camping, hiking and swimming. This beach is open to residents and non-residents. Until June 10, the beach is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. Starting June 22, the beach will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 6:30 pm. The only cost is for parking—$5 with a park pass and $10 without.”

“Teatown Lake Reservation is 1,000 nature preserve and education center. Dale and I enjoy walking around the lake (some rocks and roots, and takes around 40 minutes). It's peaceful and there's all kinds of wildlife. They also rehabilitate injured animals and birds and you can visit these, also. There are also indoor exhibits and a gift shop, but getting out into the countryside is the reason we go! Small parking fee - well worth it!”
