“Not really a park, more of a long lawn stuck between the road and the river, this is where we go when we want a longer walk. You can easily access it by following the River's edge from Fitzegerald Park. A path goes past the Shaky Bridge, along the wall of the Mardyke's sports field, crosses a road and brings you to a series of weirs and bridges. Good for a jog.”

“Great place to have a coffee. You will be in an amazing spot. Get there by going into the art and craft shop. You will find the cafe in the back garden, in a nice glass building overlooking cork. Museum to see in the old convent as well”
