“This is a great place to go for tons of hiking options. Have breakfast/brunch/lunch at the dining hall after. Parking is restricted on weekends so do yourself a favor and Uber/Lyft up to avoid any hassle. Royal Arch is a challenging but accessible or you can ramble on the wide Mesa Trail.”

“Another local favorite hike that will take you to spectacular views of Boulder and everything North, South, and East of the Front Range. This is a bit of a strenuous hike uphill, so please do not attempt if you are not property acclimated to the elevation. ”

“Great park for warm weather! Nice place too cool off. Even sitting by the creek provides some chill! You can tube down the river when the snow melt isn't too high! Then grab a burger or dog at mustard's last stand and borrow their picnic blanket to eat by the creek. FUN!”

“Aside from an extensive forested trail system, Chautauqua has live music, theater, dance, and film there all summer long. It's worth taking a look at the website to see what they have going on if you're interested in art and culture. ”

“15 minutes away. Take a picture of “The Flatirons,” the iconic backdrop of the city. Hike the Flatirons or the Royal Arch. Stop by the Ranger Cottage first to obtain a trail map. Parking is easy and free during the week and you may want to take the shuttle bus along Baseline Road on weekends.”

“Settlers Park Trailhead is a very easy hike with some interesting rock formation. It is a short walk about 10-15 minutes long. There are other trails around here which you can go on which would be longer hikes. If you are ambitious then you can hike further north from this trailhead which then connects up to Sanitas trailhead. Great views and easy access. Views of Boulder and surrounding areas and foothills of the Rockies. There is parking at the bottom of the trailhead. ”
