Suvarna Sangam is a cosy weekend getaway in Udupi, situated on a 4-acre river island (almost) with the Suvarna River on three sides, flanked by over 550 coconut trees. It is a 90 minute drive from Mangalore airport, and 6 kms away from the Udupi Railway Station. Vedavathi, situated right in front of Netravathi and Sharavathi, is an economical room with an ensuite bathroom that can accommodate 2 guests. Each cottage/room is equipped with WiFi that has a speed of 100 mbps.

There are 2 beautiful river-touching gazebos that are common to all guests. The home is a cluster of four river-facing cottages/rooms that are lovingly named Shambhavi, Sharavathi, Netravathi and Vedavathi. While they’re situated at an average distance of 100 meters from each other, all of them have a cohesive warm, homely vibe. Make the most of your stay here by exploring the Suvarna backwaters in the owner's private speedboat (Irena - Goddess of Peace) at an additional cost.

The home is located close to the popular touristy spots, Malpe Beach and Kaup Beach, both half an hour from the home. Both the beaches offer scuba diving and water sports.
The Bengre Beach is where the Suvarna River meets the Arabian Sea and is an absolute visual treat, situated only 15 minutes from the home.
The Maravanthe Beach is 3 kms. stretch (30 minutes drive) from the home with the Suvarna River and the Arabian Sea on either side of the National Highway. Imagine driving along this scenic route!
St. Mary’s Island, another famous site, is just an hour from the villa.
