Light is provided by lanterns, very primitive, and pioneer like, but practical and comfortable. Access to close by heated outbuilding with electricity, light, toilet, and shower, hot water. Water is nice and drinkable. Bedding, towels, toiletries, kettle, fire tongue, dishes, lanterns, and breakfast are provided. Close by fire heated hot tub, and Sauna. You can bring your own firewood or purchase it here $15 per big bag. There is wifi in the property closer to the main lodge or parking area.

Fire heated hot tub and sauna, detached heated wash facility, trails, parking, and No EMF! the harmful Electromagnetic Field, which cause all the disease. The idea is "Disconnect to connect!" which is the purpose of going to the forest and forest bathing, get the good energy from the nature.

Trails, and other outdoor areas, Wifi is accessible closer to the main lodge or parking area.

You're very welcome to our natural forest retreat. This is a music & alcohol free zone for everyone's enjoyment, in the cabin you can keep your music to yourself and have some wine in moderation with your meal. Here you can have peace in the heart of nature and enjoy the firewood heated sauna and hot tub and listening to the nature.
Since bridge is closed for repair put this address into your GPS but follow the direction to find the right place, some GPS take you to our neighbours who are not very friendly.

How to get here? By bus; you can take the bus through
AUC Tours from GTA to Blue Mountain Resort and we can pick you up from there.

Or by car; use the GPS and address and follow the instructions to find your spot.

In order to find the property:
Arrive in Markdale and take Grey Rd. 12 toward west after a drive of 7-8 mins you will pass the intersection Traverston rd. this is the closest intersection to our property from Markdale, so from there continue straight on Grey Rd. 12 but start looking on your left, 4th property with New Earth Sign, Red stand mailbox Canada flag, 2 upside down trees with lights on them and the number 503860 which is written also on the mailbox
As well as Welcome to New Eath bed and breakfast sign.

When you reach the property take the driveway and when you reach fork take a right until you reach the NewEarth sign, that's where you park your car, in the clearing on the left or right of the road before the sign.

You walk from that point (less than 1 minute) to the pioneer village, if cars pass this point there will be a fine applied.

You walk in the right side of the utility building and on your right you will see a path that takes you to the tiny cabin.

The door is unlock for you, lock is inside with key,if you need to lock while you are out, use the lock and the key , and make sure you give the cabin back as you found it, key and lock on the table and door shut and unlock.

Breakfast will be delivered at your door and baskets will be collected at 11:00 am.
Usually it’s coffee & tea, fruits, and fried egg sandwich (if you have a special diet and this won’t work for you let us know in advance)

Early check in or late check out is a possibility if pre-arranged for $25 per hour (arrange this with us)
Dog fee $25 (arrange this with us)

Hot Tub (3 season) usage (arrange this with us so we can preheat it for $60 for you) hot tub and sauna heat up including the firewood is your responsibility otherwise, and firewood is not included in your accommodation cost, have cash to buy firewood here and let us know in advance to bag them for you.

Your bedding, towels, dishes, kettle, lantern, and fire tongue are inside your cabin, Toiletries are provided in the utility building.
Water in utility building is drinkable and nice.
Cabin living tips:
- There is no electricity in the cabin, heat and cooking is by wood stove, light is provided by lanterns, bring your cooler for storing food, grill basket/pot/pan/heat protection glove for cooking.
- Take your your shoes off and wear your slippers.
- For heat or cooking; start the fire in the wood stove with fire starter/cardboard underneath (avoid using gasoline or chemical liquid) then you put the kindling and lastly add pieces of small logs on top and start the fire, and when fire gets going close the stove door.
- Save the lantern battery by turning them off when they are not needed.
RULES (Must Be Followed):
1- Do not put anything on top of the wood stove unless it’s metal and you are using it for cooking. Kettle that we provide is safe to be used on the wood stove.
2- Garbage must be separated to compost, recycle, and litter DO NOT MIX, use plastic bags to separate them, and leave them in the outdoor beans at the middle of the village before you check out. DO NOT THROW any garbage on the ground including cigarettes butts!
3- Please be considerate about your use of the beds, pick which bed you are going to sleep and keep the rest intact. If you are using the lower bunk bed for sitting do not remove the cover.
4- Hot tub is 3 season when the temperature is above zero (For winter holiday we try to have the hot tub available ask about it.).
Before using the hot tub please be considerate and take a shower, if your one time usage causes the need to change the water an extra $200 charge may apply.
5- Please clean after yourself in the facility building, wash your dishes before you leave and dry them, leave everything the way you received them intact in your cabin before your check out.
6- This is a quiet Eco-Retreat keep it quiet, peaceful, and clean for other villagers or we have the right to remove the outlaws group from the property.
7- DO NOT move the picnic tables! Generally any of the unfollowed rules cause extra jobs for our staff and additional costs so if that happens additional charges will be applied to your credit card.
8- We do not allow unpaid visitors, arrange with us if you are inviting guests to the property or you will have to pay a penalty on top of the guest fee.

Help us to save your security deposit by following the house rules, cleanliness, and do not leave mixed garbage behind.
What we provide:
Beddings, towels, toiletries, kettle, enamel dishes, cutlery, lantern, fire tongs, breakfast.
What you bring with you:
- Your own grilling basket/skewers, Pot/Pan, heat proof glove
- Firewood & kindling & Matches (you can also buy firewood here at the property)
- Food that can be cooked on fire
- Cooler to keep your food safe
- Can opener
- Salt&pepper/ seasoning/ oil/ foil/heat proof gloves if you need
- Your doggie bowls and bags
- Flash light
- Cell phone battery pack
- Bathing suit for Spa if you wish to use & plastic sleepers

The spa heating and the fire wood needed for that is guests responsibility, hot tub takes 4 hours if not preheated and sauna 30 mins (each fit 6 people)
It is best to do these activities in a group to share the effort and cost. We could also preheat the hot tub for you if you let us know in advance.

Other than here, firewood can be purchased in gas stations or Food Land close by (open till 12:00 am), however they are more pricy and smaller bags.
If you need firewood to be provided to you at the site, let us know ($15 per big bag) and have cash with you.

This is a conservation area; Please do not touch the trees even if they are broken or fallen, there will be a PENALTY for those who don't follow this rule.
Winter time tips:
Hot tub is not available during winter when temperature is steadily cold, which usually happens in January.
Make sure you have winter tires/chains on tires, if you are not experienced driving in snow or during snow storms be prepared to park your car at the basketball court and walk to your accommodation. Have all the equipments that you may need in your car and CAA membership handy.
We have radiant propane heaters that could be rented for $15 per stay (weekend) let us know if you need one.
Garbage instructions:
We separate garbage in 3 categories:
3 bins are provided in the common area, please pay attention and sort them properly.
On Site Activities depending on the time of trip varies during spring and summer and fall; hiking, star gazing, listening to amazing spring peeper frogs around the pond, wood burning heated sauna / hot tub (heat it up yourself), tubing in the river behind the tipis (bring your own tube, and do it under your own responsibility), outdoor games (badminton/basket ball; bring your own ball and racket), photography, painting, enjoy the coziness of your cabin wood stove or socialize around the shared outdoor bonfire with other villagers and prepare fire cooked food.

Winter; hiking/ snow-shoeing (bring your snow shoes and do not trespass to other properties follow the red tapes for trails), photography, sauna, hot tub (bring your swimming suits and fire wood)

Property Trails are marked with red tape and boundary of the property are marked with orange string.

Around here activities:
2 close by lakes within 5 mins drive Townsend lake (swimming or paddling), Bells lake (canoeing, kayaking) if you have your own Cannoe or Kayak.
