Beautiful corner duplex, quiet and comfortable, with 30m² terrace with privacy, views to the gardens of the Institute of Architects, in El Limonar, the most exclusive neighborhood of Malaga with the mansions of the high bourgeoisie of the XIX century, perfectly equipped, with private covered parking, 10 min. walk from the promenade and La Caleta beach, 25 min. walk from the center, 10 min. by bus, with large community pool in closed residential complex with beautiful gardens. Come and enjoy our Casa Limonar Málaga, a 100m² two floor corner apartment with a fantastic 30m² terrace with privacy, south-east facing, with free private covered parking and pleasant green views of the gardens of the Institute of Architects, one of the mansions of the high bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century in El Limonar, the most stately and luxurious residential area of Malaga. The closed residential complex has beautiful gardens and a large communal swimming pool, 20 metres from the entrance door of the house, open from 1 June to 1 September.

Azucena and José María, the owners of the house, live in the house next door and will always be at your disposal to help you with anything. The house is decorated with beautiful paintings by José María.

Our apartment is ideal for couples or families, with or without children, with or without a car, who are looking for a nice, comfortable and quiet house, just 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bus or 25 minutes walking from the bustling Historical Centre of Malaga. The Pablo Ruíz Picasso seafront promenade and La Caleta beach are only 1 km, 10 minutes walk away.

By car you can access the building's private underground car park with the remote control and take one elevator level up to the ground floor where the entrance door to the house is. On foot from the street you first access the private enclosure of the gardens of the building, and then, at 25 meters, you reach the entrance door of the house on the same ground floor.

Entering the two-storey house leads to the entrance hall with a staircase leading up to the two double bedrooms and bathroom, and a staircase leading down to the living-dining room, kitchen and terrace.

The living room has two sofas with two seats each, smart TV, a large dining table with four chairs, air conditioning and heating. From the living room you can access the magnificent terrace of 30m² with nice plants, clothesline, set of sofa, chairs and garden table, parasol, table and chairs for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or sunbathing with privacy, with beautiful views to the green trees of the garden of the urbanization and the garden of the mansion of the Institute of Architects, that you can visit freely during the day.

The house has quality fast Wifi and there is an HDMI cable to connect your laptop, tablet or mobile to the smart TV and enjoy your own pay TV. Since April 2018 European citizens can access their paid content from streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer or Spotify at no extra cost when travelling to another EU country. All you have to do is bring the apps on your HDMI-accessible device.

The separate kitchen overlooks the trees of the garden of the Institute of Architects. It is spacious and bright and is equipped with all the accessories: a breakfast table, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine in a separate laundry annex, ceramic hob, electric oven, electric water kettle, toaster, juicer, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, pots, pans, oven dishes, hand blender, aluminium foil, plastic, paper, iron and ironing board, etc.

There is a teapot, a French press (or cafetière, cafetière à piston, press pot) coffee maker, a drip or filter coffee maker, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and a small selection of capsules (L’Or capsules, for sale in most supermarkets here, fit as well). We also offer you basic products such as salt, sugar, oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, tea, napkins, Brita water filter (although Malaga tap water is perfectly drinkable), kitchen paper, kitchen towels, cleaning products and detergent for washing machine and dishwasher.

The two double bedrooms are spacious and bright with beautiful green views. Each bedroom has two very comfortable 200x90 cm beds with viscoelastic mattresses, air conditioning and heating, bedside tables and large built-in wardrobes with sufficient hangers. One set of clean bed linen is provided each week (fitted sheets, individual duvet covers, pillowcases), individual duvets, two pillows per person.

The bathroom is elegant. It has a large plate shower, wc, bidet, large drawer, hair dryer, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo and bath gel. Two sets of hand and bath towels are provided per person per week, as well as one pool towel per person. More free clean towels are available for longer stays.

The apartment is equipped with quiet air conditioning and natural gas heating with radiators throughout the house.

At 20 meters from the entrance door of the house you can access to the closed enclosure of the communal outdoor swimming pool, open from 1 June to 1 September, surrounded by the beautiful garden of the residential complex.

A few meters away, in our street Sierra del Co, there is a small supermarket, butcher's shop, kiosk, pharmacy, bank, ATMs, takeaway food, bakery, bars and restaurants with terraces to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, sports club Pinos del Limonar (paddle tennis, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, etc.). There are more supermarkets and shops within 10 minutes walking distance on Paseo Limonar and Paseo de Miramar. A 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away is a large Supercor supermarket.

The historic centre of Malaga can be reached in 10 minutes by bus 32. The bus stop is 50 metres from the house. There are many more buses that go to the centre from Avenida Pintor Sorolla and Paseo de Sancha, 10 minutes' walk away. On the other hand, taxis in Malaga are not expensive.

Malaga has 14 km of nice beaches and a rich cultural and gastronomic offer that will make your holiday a unique experience. For those who decide to rent our apartment we will send you a guide with suggestions for excursions, museums, restaurants and activities.

The El Limonar neighborhood belongs to the eastern district of Málaga. It is the most exclusive residential area of the city, green, with tall trees and very close to the historic center of the city. In the 19th century the high bourgeoisie built beautiful villas and palaces here around its main street, Paseo del Limonar. Our Casa Limonar Malaga is right next to one of those old mansions, now headquarters of the Institute of Architects of Malaga. You can visit its magnificent gardens and have breakfast or lunch in its restaurant (if it is open), surrounded by the peacocks that live there.

El Limonar has supermarkets, restaurants, bars and shops. A few meters away, in our street Sierra del Co, there is a supermarket, butcher, kiosk, pharmacy, bank, ATM, takeaway food, bakery, bar, restaurants and tapas bars with terraces, sports club Pinos del Limonar (padel, tennis, swimming pool, gym, restaurant). There are more supermarkets and shops in Paseo del Limonar and Paseo de Sancha, 10 minutes walk the house. A 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away is a large Supercor supermarket.

From Caleta beach, 10 minutes walk from the house, to the left, east direction, you reach the small beach, restaurant and terrace of the old Baños del Carmen, a few meters from the water, with magnificent views of the bay, the port and the Historic Center of Malaga. Continuing eastwards you will find the promenades and beaches of the neighbourhoods of Pedregalejo and El Palo, with their old fishermen's houses, beach bars, restaurants and terraces, until you reach the marina and sailing club of El Candado.

From the same Caleta beach, to the right, west direction, in 20 minutes walking along the promenade you reach the lively Muelle Uno (Dock One) in the Port of Málaga and in 15 min. more, the Historical Centre of Málaga.
