'London Lane' is situated on Queenstown Hill and has magnificent views across Lake Wakatipu to the distant Southern Alps. Comfortable and tastefully furnished, you are assured of a memorable stay.

This villa is entirely private and absolutely ideal for a couple on a romantic retreat or for a small group of up to 4 friends to have an intimate few days away. The living areas and master suite are up-stairs, while the 2nd bedroom, bathroom and laundry are at ground level. In the bathrooms you will find high quality bath linens and complimentary amenities.

- The master suite has a super-king bed, an arm chair with ottoman and of course, its private bathroom.
- The 2nd bedroom is downstairs and features a king bed which can be split into two singles on request at the time of booking. This room has doors that open onto the private garden and courtyard, which allows easy access to the spa pool.
- The 2nd bathroom features a spa-bath; ideal for those not keen to use the less private out-door hot-tub. Here you will find the laundry also.

The outdoor areas include a private, fenced garden which features a courtyard with a gourmet 'Heston Blumenthal' barbeque accompanied by a quality table and chairs, and the fenced hot-tub: the ideal way to soothe sore muscles after a day on the slopes of The Remarkables or Coronet Peak ski areas, or after the Milford or Routeburn Tracks.
Off the upstairs living area is another outdoor space, the balcony which is perfect for a cheeky gin as the sun goes down over the Southern Alps, to the west.
The living area has large twin leather sofas, long enough for the tallest person to take time out on, or to watch the 65" smart TV. The views from this beautifully furnished living room are nothing less than stunnning, with guests constantly commenting that the photos do not do it justice.
Included in this property is a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances allowing guests to cook as they please. Laundry facilities including a dryer, along with complimentary unlimited high-speed fibre wifi and Netflix HD are also part of this package.
Heat comes from heaters in the bedrooms, heat-pumps in the common areas and a superb wood stove in the lounge - you will be cosy-warm on the coldest southern night.
For families, there is a travel-cot and high chair available at an additional cost (NZ$40 and NZ$30 respectively) to cover set-up, cleaning and linen.
In the secure internally accessed double garage you will find the heated ski equipment cupboard and the wood-stack; no need to go outside for firewood.

This area of Queenstown on Queenstown Hill features quality established homes, the street 'London Lane' being a cul-de-sac so is very quiet and safe.
Down-town Queenstown is 1.5km away with its more than 200 bars restaurants and clubs. There is a forest area very close with walking trails that will take you up to a look-out point, and there is a grassed area next door.

I am a NZ-born (Gore, Eastern Southland) Queenstown resident of 27 years. A NZ registered nurse, I work part-time at the local hospital. My partner, Grant is an Australian-born (Cooma, NSW) burnt-out chef now working in food retail. So we like to eat...and drink - need I say more?

I sing in two local choirs (tenor, but like a lot of males, more baritone).The choir is a real buzz when it goes well but embarrasing when it doesn't.
I try to stay fit but that is losing its appeal as the years pass.
