My home is a warm welcoming space for weary travelers, conference attendees or local events. Close to John Hunter Hospital and University of Newcastle, road to Wineries. 2 streets away from end of Motorway (M1) from both north and south. Full use of the kitchen/dining/ lounge area and private bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet all at one end of the house. All guests receive a warm welcome. A club with dining facilities, is close by, and 7 mins away in Wallsend, are many restaurants.

This place exudes serenity, although part of a city it is very quiet and with the bush close by has many birds and water dragons visit often!

Public buses travel close by and the train station to Newcastle and Sydney is only 5 mins drive away. If traveling to the Newcastle Airport which is 3/4 hour away, I am happy to collect people for a lesser fee than the Airport Shuttle.

I really enjoy meeting new people. I have done a lot of traveling myself and know how nice it is to stay in a comfortable house and have congenial hosts to greet me. I am happy to host persons of any age or nationality. I have lived overseas myself and been part of another culture. I do a lot of various crafts, enjoy cooking, musicals and my family.
