The Barrel House is a newly remodeled fully furnished 2 bedroom 1 bath w/hot water outdoor shower . The home is on Front Street in Lahaina. Very short walk to sand. The home has everything you need for a wonderful time in this beach side whaling town.

House Rules for Occupants and Guests
Aloha and welcome to our Lahaina home, The Barrel House. We certainly hope you enjoy your stay on Maui. Due to the home’s County Vacation Rental Permit, below are some rules you should be aware of and follow during your stay. I am the Property Manager for this house you are occupying and we are responsible for all the issues you may have with the property you are in.
Quiet hours: 9PM to 8AM- You are staying in a residential area. Please respect the neighbors who live and work here as they are not on vacation.

Check-in Time: after 3:00 PM
Check-out Time: 10:00 AM

• All guests must respect the property they are occupying.

• Quiet hours from 9:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. during which time you shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would typically be associated with a residential area. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries is prohibited.

• Check-in: after 3:00 PM / Check-out 10:00 AM

• No more than 4 guests are allowed at the property. No parties, weddings, events. No group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.

• A maximum of two (2) cars are allowed on premises. Cars shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area (driveway only) and shall NOT be parked on the street. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI – NO STREET PARKING FOR RENTAL HOMES.

• Maximum speed in and out of driveway is 5 MPH.

• The home is in a residential neighborhood with children present and pedestrians walking to the beach. Please use caution when driving down the street and abide by the posted mph sign.

• All trash must be bagged in plastic bags and placed in the trash can. No littering. Trash is picked up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. No more than 6 trash (combination of bags, cans, etc.) items can be placed on the street for pickup.

• When not in the house, please turn off all lights, ACs and fans. Cost of electricity 3-4x higher than the mainland.



• After using the BBQ, please clean the grill and turn off the gas.

• Do not leave BBQ unattended.

• No smoking inside of the home or near neighboring homes. Smoking must be 20 feet away from any structure.

• No moving furniture in or outside the house. There will be a charge equal to the cleaning fee to move furniture back to original location.

• We ask you to keep screen doors shut and bugs outside.

• Shake all beach sand off of towels and clothes before entering the home. Sand is difficult to clean up and clogs the washer/dryer and vacuum. There will be an additional cleaning fee for excessive sand or excessive cleaning beyond our normal departure cleaning routine.

• Please do not spray sunscreen inside of the home. It sticks to everything and becomes impossible to remove.

• Guests will be financially responsible for damages to the home.

• If departing on an early morning flight or arriving late at night, please be quiet for the next door neighbors. They are not on vacation.

• There are no lifeguards on the beach. Babies and children should not be left unattended by the ocean. Manager and homeowner are not responsible for injury or death. Please note that the shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawaii and is open for free use by everyone.

• DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS. Hawaii has one of the most enjoyable eco-systems on earth, and insects are a part of that system. We try to control this natural occurrence by regularly spraying for insects. Naturally, it is a good idea to keep the doors and/or screens closed while enjoying our islands and do not leave food uncovered on the counters.

• Departure instructions: 1) Load and start dishwasher, 2) Turn off all lights, ACs and fans, 3) Bag up trash and put it in the can outside, 4) Shut and lock all windows and front door, 5) Please depart the home by 10 AM.

The home is less then a thousand feet to the water. With amazing summer surf spots within walking distance. Short walk to grocery store , luau , and some of our favorite restaurants. Fridas, Honu, Mala.
Fully stocked kitchen , washer/dryer, outside shed w 4 beach chairs, cooler, beach blanket, and beach wagon to help you get it all there! When returning back from the beach there is a outside shower under a mango tree with hot water to get the salt from the day off your beautiful bronze skin!
The outside eating area has a 6 person table with overhead hanging lights to give a wonderful glow while grilling and enjoying the fresh Hawaiian air!
The property has fresh mango & Tangerine depending on the time of year you are visiting!
The property is only cleaned w all natural products except for Clorox because we need to kill germs and keep things white!
Amazing natural local soaps in bathroom.
Natural dish soap and dishwasher soap
Casper beds and My pillows (yes the guy from tv) because they are amazingly comfortable and washable.
Ac in every room to keep you cool when you want and help with any outside noise you might not want to hear based on front street which can be a busy road.
