Чем вы займетесь

We begin the session by getting to know you and your experience with yoga and acroyoga (if any) and finding out if you have any specific goals for the day's session, so that we can tailor the practice to be fun and challenging for you. We start the practice with a brief seated meditation to get centered, then move into a 20-minute warmup, which consists of traditional vinyasa poses and sequences. Don't worry if the poses are unfamiliar to you; we will provide adjustments and guidance whenever needed! The majority of our time together, approximately 50 minutes, is devoted to learning acroyoga poses. You can expect to leave the session being able to do three to four partner poses. We provide instruction for basing, flying, and spotting. We will provide spotting throughout, so you can be confident you will have a safe learning experience. We conclude the session with a 20-minute cool down, during which we teach partner stretches. Stretching with a partner is the single best, fastest way to increase flexibility. We will offer an opportunity to get pictures of your new skills! After the conclusion of the session, we welcome questions and we are happy to provide further assistance.

I am a co-founder of AcroYogaSLO. I am dedicated to training and enjoyment in all things AcroYoga: which combines the dynamic power of Acrobatics, the introspection and connection of Yoga, and the loving-kindness of Thai Massage. I love to introduce the practice of acroyoga to individuals and couples from all around the world. Since 2017, I've been teaching private sessions, group classes, workshops, & host weekly jams. I truly enjoy teaching beginners and first-timers, because anyone can practice acroyoga, no matter flexibility level or previous experience. Besides the physical benefits of increasing strength and flexibility, I have found that acroyoga helps practitioners increase mental focus as well as better communication and strengthen bonds with their partner.

We will meet at Mitchell Park which is located in center of down town San Luis Obispo. Within the city block surrounded by Santa Rosa, Pismo, Buchon and Osos Streets, this 3 acre grassy green is the perfect spot for grounding. It is also crossed with diagonal paths and a gazebo bandstand in the center. Kids love this park, because it has one of the best play structures in SLO.
