You will visit the most intimate and personal space of a Chef, his home Kitchen, where I have set a special table for a group of six people, we will start with a fresh locally sourced cocktail to meet each other, then we will begin our culinary journey across Costa Rica with organic produce, responsible fishing practices sourced seafood, hand crafted dairy and some of the best cuts of meats that can be found in Costa Rica. depending of your hunger I will cook a 6 to 8 course menu with lots of story, culture, tradition and contemporary techniques I would like to add an interactive cooking class where we will make my personal recipe of “Fish Caldosa” that has been featured in National Geographic Traveller magazine in Uk in the month of february 2019 and will teach you all the tricks to make sure you are successful to impress your friends when you go back home.
Mi name is Santiago Fernandez Benedetto, I am the owner and Chef of one of the best restaurants in the country "Silvestre". I have a broad experience working in some of the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the world, from Dubai to Sydney, Australia, San Sebastian Spain and now my home country Costa Rica, where I would like to invite you to my house, where I will make sure you have a top of the range culinary experience like you never had before, sit in, relax and enjoy a hand crafted degustation menu that consist in local, hand foraged and unique ingredients that only this beautiful country has to offer, chat with the chef about creativity, recipes and taste some of the best dishes you will ever taste in Costa Rica.

We will meet at my restaurant in the historic neighborhood of Barrio Amon, then we will take a quick stroll to my house, where I will make you feel more than welcome in a recently restored 1890 house with beautiful wood floors and a collection of cookbooks that will inspire any person who considers food to be a part of their lives.
