We will meet early for a quick overview of the day and light morning exercise activation at Oak Bay Marina in Victoria BC. Warmed up and ready to go we'll get our paddling/cycling gear together (provided) and set off for a 2-4hr excursion. The paddling and cycling options from Oak Bay Marina are endless, while my prefered activity is paddling, I do know the scenic, and if requested, challenging, rides throughout Victoria, the Saanich peninsula and West Shore. If you're comfortable venturing beyond the shore, with top quality paddling gear available, including drysuits and multiperson boards, we will headout to the Chain Inlets, Discovery, Chatham and Trial Island, where an oasis of wildlife and empty space awaits, and the opportunity to step beyond the noise of the day to day into a unique environment, where whatever has been percolating in the back of your mind will have space to come forward with self authority of attention span to contemplate and discuss constructive actions towards predictable gains. Lunch options available. As the local guide, with a measure of sports performance expertise, I will be your sounding board and activity guide at AirBnb experiences - Victoria.

Join myself, Simon Whitfield, a four time Olympic triathlete, Gold and Silver medalist, for a high performance work shop. Whether you are weekend warrior who simply loves to get outside, or an amatuer athlete looking to take the next step, a corporate executive looking for an advantage, or a seasoned champion performer committed to life long learning, with a habit of asking questions, we will discuss, consider and work to validate your current methodologies, develop stratagems for performance enhancement and do so while participating in outdoor activities: paddling, swimming, cycling, running and (outdoor) gym work, with the intention of broadening our perspectives and facilitating deep contemplation of the meaning of Mastery of Sport, and performance.

Oak Bay Marina is simply stunning, with Mount Baker and the Olympic mountain range as a backdrop, a beautiful urban shoreline, small islands and a well placed breakwall the Marina can be paddled in all applicable conditions. If the weather is calm to moderate we can venture beyond Oak Bay Marina into the Chain Inlets, Chatham, Discovery and Trial Islands, and an oasis of wildlife, with Eagles, seals, otters, and the potential for whales.
