The hiking to the Quilombo Rock is very pleasant but long (16 km return hike). No need to be an athlete or regular hiker but energy is need to reach the Quilombo rock. This is a unique experience connected to nature! We will stop as many times as needed to enjoy the environment or to rest.

I visit Pedra Branca State Park since 2003, it is the largest urban park in the country and also hosts the city's tallest peak (Pedra Branca peak at 1.024m). We will visit: - Camorim water reservoir - A section of the Transcarioca hiking trail - Quilombo Rock - Camorim waterfall - Historic sites and ruins on the way. Highlight to the church "Igreja São Gonçalo de Amarante" at Camorim, built in 1625, one of the oldest buildings in the city
