We will meet at Teatro Principal de Puebla where you will discover that Puebla was divided by a river; one side for spanish people, the other for indegenous, then we will walk to the church of San Francisco,after that we will inmerse in this barrio and walk into Garibaldi or Mercado del Alto a place known by locals because of mariachis. We will admire the cobbled streets (really different from the ones located in the heart of Puebla) and some murals, admire the daily life and some local businesses, you will be surprised by the prevailing calm and non crowded streets. We will continue walking until we face Xanenetla, a little indigenous barrio known because of its murals and particular architecture, this artistic intervention helped to rebuild social fabric, to eliminate violence and to give this area an identity. Finally, we will end our tour in 6 oriente or Calle de los Dulces.

I´m a college student who loves to observe the social processes, the colonial, post-colonial and deconstruction studies I have taken help me to understand more not only Xanenetla but also my city. I love meeting new people, sharing my knowledge, spending time learning new things, colors and poetry. I speak Spanish, English and I´m learning Arabic. Can´t wait to share with you this part of the world!
