Чем вы займетесь

We will meet at one of Perth’s inner-city parks. After introductions we find a place to acknowledge our arrival and to start our process of relaxing our body and increasing our awareness. I will guide you through a few breathing exercises and gentle movements that will help your mind disconnect from your everyday life. You will have the opportunity to slow down, relax and relate to the living beings around, both plant and animal. We will walk, slowly, mindfully and with no intention of getting anywhere but instead enjoy being exactly where we are. I will invite you to observe and communicate with what you see, hear, smell and feel. You may experience cross species connection and develop a meaningful relationship with what surrounds you. We will take time to sit and share our energy, becoming fully present and aware. There is no requirement for you to talk or move. The invitations from me are all optional. To end our time, we can share some herbal tea (that I will bring) and our joy at being alive!

I love being in nature and exploring new places, meeting new people, sharing and caring for them. I have qualified as an Urban Bush guide, volunteered for 4 years as a guide at Perth Zoo and I am currently a guide at Rottnest Island. I am also a qualified yoga teacher and practice daily. The activity of mindfully walking through green spaces is something I have found to bring relaxation and clarity. I was excited to discover this has been scientifically validated and is a recognised as Shinrin Yoku in Japan or Forest Bathing. I wish to share the beauty of Perth and be your forest guide.

We will visit one of several chosen parks in and around Perth CBD. They are all beautiful with many large trees, water features and wildlife. There will be plenty of shady spots and places to sit and rest. Toilets will be accessible nearby.

Wear some comfortable shoes, runners or sandals. We may remove them to feel the ground beneath our feet. We only cover a short distance so little fitness required. Bring your senses and an open heart!
