We will be meeting in my cooking studio in a residential area of Shibuya. I will serve you a welcome drinks. And let's get to know other guests. Everyone gets aprons and stat cooking together. I will start explaining about soup stock that I will prepared before guests come. We will chop and mince many vegetables for gyoza fillings. In this part, guests can practice their knife skills and also they can experience Japanese made handcrafted sharp knives. Cooking class includes seasoning tastings so that my guests can learn quality authentic seasoning flavors, some of them are handmade. Most of dish, I will show you a short demo first, them guests will make their own dish. Some other dishes are we will work together. I will serve you fruity sake with meal. Gluten free option is available!

This class is completely taught in English. If you do not find dates you look for on my calendar, please request me a date and time, I might be able to accomodate! Born in Iwate and have lived across the cities in the States. My passion for cooking leaded me to come to a culinary school in San Francisco and my culinary journey has begun. After 15 years, I have finally launched Tokyo Cooking Studio last year, sharing Japanese culinary culture with lots of passion to learn your culture as well!

First, guests will enjoy walking a residential quiet Shibuya area. Walking from Komabatodaimae station through Tokyo University Campus, which is the closest station from my cooking studio. Guests also can walk from Shibuya station. Our meeting place is my garage-renovated cooking studio.
