It will be a 120 minutes Ramen making workshop. First 30 min will be an introductory lecture of Ramen, talking about different type of soup stocks, flavor profiles, toppings and noodles. I will explain and demonstrate how to make basic chicken stock and soy based sauce from scratch. Each guest will make noodle, half boiled egg and flavored oils. At the end of the workshop they can make a bowl of self-made Ramen by choosing their own favorite toppings, etc. Let us make a memorable dish together!!
I'm a free-lance sushi/washoku instructor with 25 years of experience. I started my culinary career in US in 1993 and worked at many upscale Japanese restaurants like Nobu in NYC. I'm currently teaching at a sushi school nearby Tsukiji fish market in order to introduce the great culture of sushi/washoku to people from all over the world. Let's enjoy making ramen together!

Just two stations away from Shibuya. The workshop will be conducted at a rental kitchen, 3 minutes walk from Sangen-jaya station (Den-en-toshi Line station #03).

The workshop will be conducted in the basement of the building. The entrance could be little bit hard to find. Please look for Blue Bottle Coffee shop at Sangenjaya first, and then find Airbnb logo posted right next to "KAKUYASU" liquor store.
