Sloth's Territory is a total trail of 1300 meters, which extends along a natural forest surrounded La Havana River, into a total property of 10 hectares.
At your arrival you will park at the Rodriguez Family's House, owners of Sloth's Territory. Their house works as reception, so it is a meet up point for waiting the start time of the activity.
Right at the moment of your arrival, you will be greeted and welcomed of one of their family (normally Oscar, Keylor or Mauricio and the ones leading the project and the activity).
During the hike, the trail allows you to enjoy a gallery forest with lush vegetation and giant tree; constituting the habitat of many species like: opossums, two and tree-toed sloths, howler monkeys, blue jeans frogs, porcupines and many birds such as toucans, motmots, tiger herons, kingfishers tanagers and much others.
But the main attraction are the sloths watching and the blue jeans frog watching. The Rodriguez Family have months of daily counting the sloths and we are sure that you will have the chance to see between 3 and 12 different sloths (from two and three toed-sloths).
The duration of this activity can be from 1,5 to 2 hours, all depends if you want to focus just on the sloths or if you are interest of watching more plants and animals.
