If you spend a night in Narita after your flight to Japan or before you fly back to your home country,Let's see the holy pieces of wood burn and read go-shingon (mantra) out loud!! The common way to get to Naritasan Shinshoji from JR Narita or Keisei-Narita Station is to go through Omote-Sando Street. You can enjoy this Omote-Sando Street by shopping or standing eating. You would have time after we break up at Shinshoji. This time, we go through the back street with stopping along the way to Shinshoji. We'll visit "Train Street" (Densha-Michi), where the trains stopped running in 1944. We'll see the track the Seiso train used to reach the city of Narita for 35 years.Under the girder bridge,I will explain about Narita Shinkansen, the abandoned high-speed train to the airport. Then we go to Naritasan Shinshoji through “Nariso Train First Tunnel, the Second Tunnel” which are made from brickwork. (These tunnels have been acknowledged as Japan Society of Civil Engineers Heritage.) We go in the Dai-hondo (Huge hall) and try “Ogoma”.Let’s pray loudly together with looking at Fudo-Myo-oh Go-Shingon (Mantra for Acalanathe God of Fire) Card.We break up at Shinshoji and you have free time.
I lived in Narita City for about 20 years, but not anymore. I visit Naritasan Shinshoji Temple about once a month to see the holy pieces of wood burn and read go-shingon (mantra) out loud. Even though I am not a religious person, I like Fudo Myo-o (Acalanatha God of Fire) and Esoteric Buddhism, where they pray with burning holy pieces of wood. My fondness for travel drove me to pass the National Examination for Certified General Travel Service Supervisor. I'm not good at English, but I have attended H.I.S. Tours. I have over 10,000 "rail fan" followers on Twitter（@RailfanGuide）.
Где вы побываете
We will go in the dai-hondo (huge hall) and try ogoma. Hopefully it will start at 10:00 AM , 12 PM and 2 PM. The schedule may change or be canceled due to the organizer's circumstances. We'll pray loudly together while looking at Fudo Myo-o go-shingon (mantra for Acalanatha God of Fire) card. By touching the ogoma's fire with your personal belongings such as bags or wallets, you will be blessed by Fudo (fierce Buddhist deity).
