You'll spend a delicious evening sampling a myriad of different teas in our unique steampunk tea shop. You'll sip, I'll brew and you'll learn about what makes different teas unique and how tea is grown and processed. We'll talk about the legends and lore surrounding this mysterious magical beverage. We'll sample and compare floral notes, mineral elements, and vegetal savory scents. We'll drink and compare black teas, explore Oolongs, savor subtle green teas, and dive into the wide world of therapeutic herbal Tisanes. We'll try on crazy hats and have a fabulous time. Come develop your palate and learn more about Teas & Tisanes. This experience is for tea lovers and novices alike and we'll guarantee you find something to fall in love with by the end.

I've been tasting and mixing Tea and Tisanes for over 7 years, and have had a lifelong interest in the healing power of the therapeutic plants. I am co-founder of Seattle's most intriguing tea shop. We provide tea for many of the largest and most discerning cafes and restaurants in our fine city. I've been lecturing and providing training and education for enthusiasts and professionals alike. I believe everyone should enjoy tea as much as I, and love helping people discover our connection to the plant kingdom.

We'll conduct our world tour of tea in our fabulous Steampunk tea shop that is our laboratorium, tasting room, and mysterious shop of wonder. We have everything you'll need here, fun tea googles, all the tea you'll ever need, top hats, and a wondrous environment to steep the imagination while listening to tall tales and real stories from tea antiquity.

I brought my sister and 4 kids (ages 10-18). It was awesome we learned so much and had good conversations with Will. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. I always hated tea my whole life, I went because my daughter loves tea. I learned that I really like tea, I just had to find what worked well for me. I will be coming back again next time I’m in the Seattle area.
