Чем вы займетесь

I love to run, do yoga and wild swim. I also love Oxford. I'd like to share all of this with you! This airbnb experience is designed to be a non-competitive, inclusive event for like minded, reasonably fit and ‘up for a challenge’ people to enjoy some of the green spaces in Oxford and all before breakfast! • Gentle paced 30 minute run/jog (largely off road) • A 30 minute outdoor yoga session • Complete a leisurely 30 minute wild swim down the River Thames • Share a hearty breakfast at a local independent café I will help you discover the more hidden gems of Oxford along the river and canal towpaths, nature reserves and the wide open spaces of Port Meadow or the Parks, far from the madding crowds. We may see cattle, ponies, egrets, geese and the odd heron or kingfisher. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause, to take photos and for me to share some of the stories behind the places we see en route too. I look forward to sharing this unique experience with you.

I've practiced yoga for over 20 years in Oxford, Greece and Turkey and facilitated family yoga for many years. I have competed in duathlons, triathlons and 10k events, and am currently training for a 10k wild swim. I love to share my passions and encourage everyone to be active, but to do so mindfully taking in the sights, sounds and smells of nature as we go. I decided to offer all three elements to create #RunYogaSwim this year and it is proving very popular. Adding breakfast at the end makes sense as Airbnb attracts such interesting people and so a treat to share stories over good food.

Our route will take us along the river Thames tow path, up to Port Meadow, through the Trap Grounds Nature Reserve, before a swim down river and then back through Jericho after our swim. We will see wildlife, enjoy a work out and experience the peacefulness of early morning in the outdoor green spaces in Oxford. And all before a hearty breakfast at an independent cafe, to share our stories.
