I’ll start things off by telling you about my background, my childhood, my passion for Taekwondo, and my journey as a refugee. And in doing so, I’ll explain how important it is to have fun in even the scariest of situations.
Then, we’ll get into fitness! We will do a 30-minute interval full body workout together, and try to have as much fun as possible!
As we start to warm up, I’ll tell you about some general fitness mistakes people make. In Taekwondo you need to stretch before being able to kick high, therefore we always need a good warm-up. But warming up is essential in every sport. It makes for a better workout and helps prevent injuries.
After that, we’ll kick things up a notch and get going with the workout. People often think they need weights to get a full-body workout, but here I’ll show you how to do a full-body workout using only your body weight (and it will be just as good as a workout with weights!). All you need is a towel or a yoga mat.
In our workout, we’ll focus primarily on perfecting your technique rather than doing as many reps as possible. This of course is key to any workout.
Afterwards, we’ll take a moment to discuss the importance of rest, sleep, and nutrition. Sleeping is just as important as the training itself. It gives your body time to memorize your workout and recharge.

My name is Ehsan and I have been living in Switzerland for 5 years. I come from Iran and I have been doing Taekwondo for my entire life.
When I was in Iran, I was on the National team for eight years. Iran has one of the best Taekwondo teams in the world, and I was the best Taekwondo player in my weight category. I fought in all kinds of competitions, including European championships, world championships and more. Basically everything except the Olympic Games.
When I had to leave my country, I flew to Switzerland. At first, I couldn’t train because I didn’t have a passport, but eventually I was able to resume again, and now I have my sights set on earning a spot in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Das war wieder ein sehr gutes Training. Ich habe es für eine Gruppe gebucht und meine Freunde damit überrascht. Es hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
Ehsan bringt immer neue Übungen in seinen Plan und er stellt sein Training auf unser Niveau ein. Sehr zu empfehlen!!

The full body workout with Ehsan was great. It was nice that he introduced himself and gave some background. The workout was tailored so that I was pushed just enough, working up a good sweat and also having a stretch at the end. It felt like a personalised experience. Doing it over zoom was fine, we adjusted the laptop camera angle a couple of times.

This time my nephew (15y/o) did the work out. His feedback: "I really enjoyed the training and I think that Ehsan is an amazing trainer. my aunt bought me this cuz she says I have to work out more and the training was really inspiring for me especially because I haven’t been working out much since I broke my arm about one and a half months ago I think Ehsan really adapts to your capabilities and he definitely knows his stuff."
