Чем вы займетесь

Join me or my colleague Michael, for a running sightseeing tour of central Edinburgh! Why walk it when you can run it?! This is a c.6.5km / 4 mile run, that takes in all the major sights of the city and some of its best scenery! I will take you to visit the city's most historic monuments on Calton Hill. You will see where the Queen takes her summer holidays, before running up the Royal Mile and uncovering a hidden 17th century garden. You will have the chance to stand in front of the historic Castle and find out all about the city loch that became so poisonous it was turned into a park! There will also be time for plenty more, including of course photo stops along the way! At the end, there will be time for a drink at a local café, where I can give you some local insights and you can grill me on any running and fitness training questions you might have. This tour is suitable for all abilities, from novice runners upwards.We run at a casual pace suitable for the whole group (you are on holiday after all!). The actual run usually takes around 1 hour 10 minutes, but this is dependent on the group's pace and how many selfies you all want to take!

Starting in the city centre, the first main stop is Calton Hill, before we head down to Holyrood Park. From here, we run up to Edinburgh Castle and explore the old town, before heading into the New Town. There will be plenty more sights and stops throughout!

Wear suitable clothes and trainers to run in and appropriate for the weather. You should be able to run 5 miles / 8km in just over an hour. Water is essential.
